Fox Canine began not in Herfordshire, but in the Cotswolds with a musculoskeletal and veterinary physiotherapy service in 2017, making use of the very latest in Class 4 Laser technology.
This service has been added to over the years to create Fox Canine Services, now based in Herefordshire and specialising in working dogs.
Back in 2017, the Class IV Laser was a big investment. This is a wonderful tool for combining with massage and soft tissue techniques to help with pain management, inflammation, muscle injury, wounds, soft tissue pain and joint conditions such as arthritis.

Fox Canine Services can also help with rehab or pre-hab planning/post op management for dogs that have undergone or are about to undergo surgery, and specialises in working dogs, preventative work in puppies along with caring for those older dogs that are becoming arthritic.
The aim of this, and all Physiotherapy, is to get the body into the best position possible to keep it mobile, flexible, strong and supported to allow the dog to continue healthily for as long as possible. Working dogs are a big investment for handlers and organisations and implementing gold-standard management can reduce injury risk, keep dogs mobile, and hopefully allow their career to be as long as practical.
We also stock a small range of canine supplements - these are supplements that we have used within the veterinary industry and have extensively tested on our own dogs. They are only stocked because we believe in them and have seen results with them.
